Assassin's Creed Unveils Bizarre Attack on Titan Crossover for Holiday Season

In a bizarre partnership that defies usual expectations, Ubisoft has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations echo through the obscurity." The narrative features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret cult.

The mission focuses on "strange trials and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Changes

The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to numerous items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Newest Free Story Addition
