The assault resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
